Every time there is IRS tax “reform,” your taxes become yet more complicated and usually go up–the initial rate was around 2% and highly restricted. Rather than trying to reform the IRS (remember this would be done by lawyers and tax “experts”), a better solution would to be abolish it. The country prospered quite well before it came into existence, and without these taxes the military/industrial complex would find it difficult to wage these perpetual wars which are destroying the country. There is considerable evidence that the passage of that amendment to the constitution was done in an illegal manner. (Who would vote to voluntarily tax themselves?)
