Girls of Summer

Apropos of nothing, except some image work from a photo…. And summertime in its lovely late Augustness.

Dude, I don’t know what this has to do with challenging scientism, unless pissing off PC types is part of the smack-down.

So sure, I can join in the fun.

It’s not about porn IMO but women who have mastered the art of flirting in front of the camera WITHOUT taking all their clothes off.

    Example?

You Tube clips of Betty Page dancing to “The Cramps”, a “proper”* artifact thanks to digital technology.

    “Girl from the Past”

(Not recommended for married men – :o)

*Digital artifacts such as pictures of “HIV” should be considered “improper” and in bad taste.

  • I don’t know… Looking at those pics does chalk up a point in favor of Intelligent Design in my opinion.

And speaking of which, I was reading the Darwins Sharks article and wanted to comment on the fact that genes don’t quite answer enough questions for me. My limited understanding of them is that there are three letters, and these form sequences such as ABC, BCC, ABA and so on. Not a lot of combinations. Yet I am to understand that a few of these in a specific order is the reason why I find the female in the above pictures somewhat attractive? And that the reason some might not is because they have their genes in a different order?

There has long been the question of what came first, the chicken or the egg? What came first, intelligence or design? Intelligence or genes? Did genes come along by accident? Just a mistake?

And here is where things get really wierd for me. The notion that atoms co-locate. That there are two identical atoms or something everywhere, or at least that one vibrating here on earth has a matching one somewhere else far away. Does this mean genes have the same twins elsewhere? Wouldn’t this suggest that there would also be a twin earth? A twin USA? Or would that just be blind luck or a mistake too? Scientism seems to want to make really special rules that almost always work, in all circumstances, but never quite seem to. Such as the Big Bang where all the rules stop working long enough to make the theory work, and then turn back on again when needed.

It is a little hard for me to believe that all that I am derives from a few chemical compounds arranged in specific orders inside my body and nothing else. This is why I am not quite religious, but I am spiritual. Spiritual to me means only that I am smart enough to know that I don’t have all the answers and neither does scientism.

But I am glad something inside me works well enough to see beauty in a female body.
