Waaaahhhhhh!
April 11th, 2008 — LiamBoo-hoo-hoo! We’ve been bad again, says Lord of the red-ribbon festivities, Elton “Reggie” John:
![]()
“…I never cease to be amazed at the misogynistic attitude of some people in this country. And I say to hell with them,” he said, drawing cheers from the crowd at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. (Reuters)
Yeah, well…nobody’s perfect, Reg.
“I’ve always been a Hillary supporter,” he said.

Really? Ya think?
Elton. We don’t dislike her because she’s a woman. We dislike her because she takes the good name of women everywhere and rips it to shreds with her immense lack of ethics and integrity.
Look, I’m perfectly willing to be critical of my country - stupid war, idiotic president, and at least one very dishonest candidate. There, I said it. But it is my country, and I gotta live with it. I don’t have a private jet and a zillion dollars that can fly me away to Ibiza, for some “me time” at whim and will…
A jet I earned, playing putrid, sappy bombast (just my opinion, Elton!), for drunken crowds in New Jersey…

Hey… I think maybe Sir Elton earned a lot - maybe most of his money - here in…no, it couldn’t be! Here in this horrible misogynist, anti-gay, anti-Hillary, god-for-saken, “to hell with it” country!
Well, I’ll be expecting a check from the maestro in the mail soon, because such a noble guy as Sir E. wouldn’t want to keep dirty, dirty, filthy misogynist money from the likes of us…
America - everybody loves her, till they hate her, (but they’ll keep her dollars, either way).

Elton John is nothing more than a glorified pantomime “Dame” who pokes his nose in everything. The guy is just a clown act, he has not written a good song in decades now. What else has he got to do but be a Hillary whore, organise parties for the Oscars and throw girlish tantrums. A has been with a very big mouth and lots of cash; hardly expect him to not be a Hillary supporter.
As you say. What business is it of his anyway!

The gays loves them some Hillary!
I think it’s called the “sisterhood”.
It would probably be in our best interests to accept that our next president will be Hillary (should there actually be an “election”). The polls showing that Obama is ahead in delegates and the popular vote don’t mean a thing.
I think all the candidates suck, regardless. Same tired old machine, all of them.
Two-party system can be looked at in a couple of ways: divide and conquer, and good cop/bad cop.
Wake the fuck up, people.

Dan,
on ‘next pres Hillary’, I’d say, wait and see. She earns more enmity per square mile than any candidate we’ve seen since I can’t remember… Don’t discount most of Americans, whose bedrock conservatism doesn’t like Bill, doesn’t like Nafta - and despite her many angry protestations to all sides on all issues - doesn’t like the kind of opportunistic lying they see in the Senator from NY…
We shall see…
And sure, the two-party system is no party. It offers its own special brand of tyranny, doesn’t it? The illusion of a ‘choice,’ which is actually an absolute imposition of the kind of opportunistic worldview we see in Mrs. C., and then the reality that it covers (and covets), the naked market-driven internationalist machine that is our Western World Economy (and social structure). So, is it a market drive to success, to excess, or to ruin? We’re trying all three!

< ![CDATA[Ok, I'll play along.
I'm assuming that Dame Elton's remark about misogyny is aimed at those who aren't madly in love with Hillary Clinton.
That really is the fallback position of Hillary supporters.
I listen to too much "progressive" radio. Most of the talk show hosts are pro-Obaama, which brings out the true colors of the Hillary crowd. They Hillary supporters will call in, initially talking about policy (alright, no problems there), but will quickly move the conversation into hysterical emotionalism. They paint their beloved candidate as a constant victim (that's who I want for president, a victim!). Her supporters will usually come clean near the end of their tirade and say that we have a chance to make history by electing a woman (which is really all they want in the first place).]]>

< ![CDATA[Yeah, that sure is the fallback position - it's the up-front position, too:
“Boy’s Club!”
Right! She got to be a Senator of one of the wealthiest states in the country, after eight years of ‘experience’ being the wife and victim of the ‘most powerful man in the world,’ because she was… the most capable and qualified!
I mean… the wealthiest, with the best, “old boy’s club” connections.
What a liar.
And then there’s this little issue: I guess Dame Elton just doesn’t like Black people?
(I should’ve put that in the blog - “I can’t stand a country that would put a person of mixed race ahead of a woman!” says Dame Elton.) No, no, not really. He didn’t. But what’s the implication? A woman, but not a non-white? So, we’re sexist, but not racist. Well, that’s gotta count for something in the old liberal playbook, no?
Yes, the ‘liberal’ game runs thin, fast…]]>

“Whaaahhh! I win or nobody plays! Whaaahhh!!”]]>

But wait…. there’s more:
“Whaaahhhh!! She called me a name (that really describes my husband better)!”

Well, they’re all prostitutes. I mean, Sir Edmund voted for the war, against her constituency every time she was given the opportunity to do so, so the Neo-Cons would still do deals with the Neo-Libs.
She now publicly opposes and ‘deplores’ the war.
If that’s not political and intellectual prostitution, then I don’t know what is.
April 11th, 2008 at 9:57 am
Yes, the Hillary crowd is playing this game as dirty as they can (possibly) get away with.
As somebody who thinks all the candidates suck horse balls, I’m disgusted with her contention that Florida and Michigan be counted (her tortured reasoning about “the will of the people”). Well, Obama wasn’t even on the ballot, therefore those who would have voted for him didn’t even have the chance. So, she’s being an incredible hypocrite (to say the least) when it comes to the “will of the people”.
She’s sleazy and plays the victim.

FEC investigation urged over Elton John, Hillary
Federal law bans in-kind donations from foreigners
http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=61681
A Washington-based public-interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption has sent a letter to the Federal Election Commission seeking an investigation into the apparent violation of U.S. election laws when pop star Elton John appeared at a fundraiser for the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.
The letter from Judicial Watch notes that federal law prohibits any contributions, including contributions of talents and time, by a foreign national to any federal, state or local election campaign.
News reports after the fundraiser mostly discussed Elton John’s condemnation of the “misogynistic attitudes” of Americans and his belief that Clinton is the most qualified person to be president.
Those reports also estimated the event at Radio City Music Hall in New York raised about $2.5 million.
“Recent news reports suggest that Hillary Clinton and Hillary Clinton for President have accepted an in-kind contribution from a foreign national, Sir Elton John, in contravention of federal election laws,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a letter, dated Monday, to the FEC.
(Story continues below)
“On behalf of Judicial Watch and its supporters, I hereby request that the FEC investigate this matter,” he said.
Judicial Watch noted that the Clinton campaign’s own press release said the express intent of the concert was to raise funds for the campaign.]]>
