Is it true? Is everybody owned and co-opted? Every opinion washed and sanitized - On the Left?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate “foundations,” I do like Bill Moyers, and I do think Noam Chomsky has made more than his fair share of good points in his long career.

But I do know from personal experience that the “lefty” media has its biases and limits, and those gags run silent and deep. That is, “approved-liberal-think” silences anybody and any story that tests the rather Utopian, often light-weight, quasi-religious beliefs of the self-proclaimed “liberal media” in the US and Europe:

“Capitalism must Go! Down with corporations! Up with Sisterhood! Aids drugs for Africa! Gay rights (and Hiv tests!!) The US is the cause of all problems in history!! [Oppressed pseudo-minority group] Rights!! NOW!!!”

I, myself, have felt the gag, when dealing with (and trying to provide information and reporting to) the New York Times, Democracy Now, and the Village Voice, among others.

Oh, but let’s be fair, FoxNews is owned by… 20th Century Fox, which is owned by… Newscorp. Which is run by? Ruppert Murdoch.

The Wall Street Journal is owned by? Newscorp.

And the WSJ has to disclose this bit of information whenever they write about a Fox venture or product: “Newscorp, which owns Dow Jones, Inc, which publishes the Wall Street Journal,” etc.

Certainly FoxNews doesn’t call itself “National Public Newscorp.”

So why is “National Public Radio,” which receives at least 2/3rds of its funding from corporations (Exxon-Mobile, Allstate, Merck, Archer Daniels Midland, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and many more), plus a handful of government checks, allowed to call itself “Public?”

“It’s a swindle, Jimmy!”

“I’m the NewsGuy, and I’m lying to you even as I speak. Our top stories tonight…”

“I’ve got to stop listening to NPR.”

“Remind you of anyone, anywhere, anyhow?”

What are the stories that are most regularly suppressed by the LEFT-wing media? By the RIGHT?

Which networks give the most LIBERAL (that is, diverse and contentious) coverage of:

1) Politics?

2) Science?

3) Religion?
