ABC Uncovers 9-11 Truth?

ABC News “Nightline” program, which parades commentary about and by pop-culture prostitutes and occasional pandering, meandering war-coverage as serious news (where have you gone Ted Koppel?), pretended to cover a real and genuine cultural controversy on last night’s program.

Cynthia McFadden, Nightline Anchor – “Would I lie to you?”

“Inside a Truther Convention.”

“Chris Bury and producer Katie Hinman did just that this weekend — attending a convention in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, alongside hundreds who share a collective distrust of the official explanation for the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

As they will report tonight, the attendees come from several different viewpoints, knitted together in this “movement” largely online.

We talk to conference organizer Betsy Metz, who tells us there is “absolutely a cover-up,” and the producers of “Loose Change” a conspiracy theorist film that is among the most downloaded videos in Google history.”

Indeed. Let’s ask this question:

How do you investigate a crime? How do you cover one up?

What Will Scott Brown Do?

Here in the great State of Massachusetts, a great many irritated people, tired of immense taxation, voted for a pretty decent, hard working fellow from a local town to represent their interests and to oppose D.C. desires, as State Senator.

And it’s good as far as it goes. It might hold up the massive health care fraud. It does announce that many old Dems will be vacating their positions soon, and Congress and the Senate will see some new blood, most of which will be quickly corrupted.

New can be good, but it only goes so far…

Democrats will remain what they have been, and so will Republicans. Read the rest of this entry »

Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream….

Imagine you’re a bit younger than you are now. It’s somewhere in the mid 1980s or maybe 1990s. A friend comes up to you and says, “Last night I had the strangest dream!”

“First, this total party guy, coke-head, alcoholic guy, becomes President. Of the United States! Actually, he’s the son of the head of the CIA! I forgot that part. So, he becomes president, for like… EIGHT Years! But he doesn’t actually win the election, but the Supreme Court wants him to be President, so they make him President!”

Proof that All Government Conspiracy Theories are True

At any decent social gathering, you will run into one or more boys or girls, men or women, who will tell you that the reason we are currently dangling on one hook or another is the government. Or, “The GOVERNMENT.”

– It’s just a movie! (No, it isn’t!)

Obama Kicks Old, Monied Interests Out…Psyche!

It’s historic, and I congratulate, and embrace my finally multi-cultural-to-the-top nation. (If “Harvard” equals “multicultural). But, whatever, I get it, and wish the dude well. But it’s gonna be rough seas, Captain.

So, who has made the best, most prescient, and most succinct political analysis thus far?

None other than my childhood touchstone, Mad Magazine?

9-11 Witnesses

9-11.jpg

This horrible day in NYC, and then, the world.

You know, I never wanted to look into this, but friends kept bringing it up, so I did…and it’s true that the 9-11 commission suppressed the testimony of firefighters, EMT’s, police, citizen civilians, all reporting the same thing…

School Of Rove

By Liam Scheff
GNN December 2004

– Thinking of a master plan

Bush’s Brain, the 2003 book and film by veteran journalists James Moore and Wayne Slater,
and directors Joseph Mealey and Michael Shoob, lays out, with compelling bi-partisan evidence, the wake of destruction left by Bush’s long-time campaign and political director, Karl Rove.

Rove is on a roll. He’s orchestrated two presidential wins in a row, gained the Republicans majority positions in the House and Senate, and all but driven the Democrats into the sea. He’s currently on the short list for Time Magazine’s Man of the Year. As his boss puts it, “Karl’s the man with the plan.” Read the rest of this entry »
